We also made a friendship web, the children had to pass the wool to one of their friends and say why they are a good friend. The children worked as a team and we talked about how important it is to work together.

Zog and the Flying Doctors
This week Recpetion have been acting out the story 'Zog and the Flying doctors'. We have been using puppets to retell the story and they have had lots fun replacing the character Zog with their own creatures that they have made!

Autumn in Reception
Autumn fruit pictures
The children used Autumn colours and apples and pears to print with.
Practicing our writing
The children used large paper and chunky pens to practice writing their letters and holding their pens correctly.
The children decided to play school and were taking the register and doing their phonics.
Helping us to get strong arms for writing.
The children lay on their tummys and had to keep their arms straight to draw large circles with. This helps develop their shoulder and upper arm strength.

Easter competition Winners!
Today we had our Easter assembly and announced the winners of our Easter competition! Well done to everyone that entered and a special well done to our winners from Reception!

Easter stay and play
Today Foundation Stage had our Easter themed stay and play. We had lots of fun making Easter crafts and the children really enjoyed showing their families all of the fun activities that we do in school.
