Poland 10.02.14

This week we have been focusing our learning around Poland. The children have been answering the register in Polish (Dzien Dobry) which they have taken too really well.
One of our activities was retell the story of Smok the dragon. The children used the wooden blocks to build Krakow castle and retold the story through role play.

We have also been making dragon masks so children can be the dragon to retell the story. Children used skills such as cutting and sticking for this job.

Also this week we have been making Poland flags describing the shapes of each part of the flag and assembling them together.
We have been talking a lot about different countries this half term and have made a display of all the wonderful work children have completed. Please feel free to have a look at the display in the morning when you bring your child to school to find out more about what we have been learning this half term.
